Not too many people know that Tennessee Has one of the Largest impact craters in the United States Right smackdab in the middle of the state. You can link to this location on Google Maps here.
A view of the tilted rocks in the crater. Most people who travel through this area don't even know they are staing in a meator crater.

Here is another Tennessee mystery. This is a carved limestone rock found near the top of one of our local mountain peaks, it has been there for hundreds or maybe thousands of years, and no it is not a millstone.
Here is another view of the mystery rock, this time from the top. The most logical explanation for this rock is that it's a ceremonial rock used by the Cherokee or other Indians. To protect this piece of history I will not map this location on Google.
Yes, this is a car that has been converted to a chicken. Why? I don't know.

Black Mountain Radar facility near Crab Orchard, this facility is carved out of such a small area in the woods that in order to get the entire site in a photo with the cheap camera I had, I was forced to mosaic several photos together. In 2001 and again in 2002 our So-Called leaders in the state capitol were bound and determined to pass a income tax in Tennessee. Thousands of horn honking protesters turned out to fight this unwanted and unneeded tax, I was one of them, and will be again if they try again.
